Block trains

DB Cargo Czechia is a major carrier for transit transport on the west-east (i.e. between Germany and Slovakia) and north-south (i.e. between Poland and Austria/Slovakia) corridors. However, we also provide transportation for export and import from/to the Czech Republic. Through our sister companies in individual European countries, we are able to arrange shipments throughout the whole Europe. Thanks to the deployment of modern multi-system locomotives, we are able to reduce train stays at borders to a minimum. In cooperation with the parent company, DB Cargo AG, we are also able to supply various types of freight wagons for the block trains, according to the customer requirements.
